HOME IS WHERE MY MAT IS: MANDALA

In 2000, head designer and passionate yogi Nathalie Prieger founded her fashion label MANDALA, which has since stood for ecologically sustainable high-end fashion that is also absolutely wearable in everyday life. Organic yoga fashion and activewear, in which, in addition to the highest level of comfort and the best possible freedom of movement, the ecological balance of the materials used also plays a major role. Certified organic cotton, which is grown and processed without any pesticides or other chemical additives, forms the basis of numerous MANDALA shirts and yoga pants. In addition, there is Tencel, which is obtained from eucalyptus trees from sustainable forestry, and Modal, which is made from Austrian beech wood and is biodegradable. Both materials are characterized by their light, comfortable feel, are easy to care for and breathable. Polyester made from recycled plastic bottles forms the basis of the wildly patterned, slim, fancy and stretchy yoga pants, which are wonderfully light on the skin and dry super quickly. This not only reduces the amount of plastic, but also significantly reduces the use of petroleum when upcycling plastic.
