Our 5 sustainability criteria

for a careful approach to people and nature

Consumption and sustainability. A contradiction? That doesn't have to be the case. With greenyogashop we enable consumers to make sustainable decisions. Firstly, by building our product range accordingly and secondly, by transparently evaluating each of our products according to five sustainability criteria.

  • Fair manufactured and regionally produced

You can tell whether the brand …

    • supports charitable projects and/or contributes to the common good of its employees.

    • produced locally.

    • supports CO2 reduction with short delivery routes.

  • Certified

This criterion tells you whether the manufacturer, …

    • obtains the raw materials for its products from controlled organic farming.

    • Can demonstrate certifications (for example according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 or GOTS).

  • Natural materials

This tells you whether the manufacturer uses natural or untreated raw materials to produce its products.

  • Resource and CO2 saving

    You see transparently, …

    • whether the products were manufactured under environmentally friendly conditions and whether the work was carried out in a particularly resource-efficient manner.

    • whether the product is made from sustainable and therefore long-lasting materials and thus contributes to waste reduction.

    • the extent to which the manufacturer caps its CO2 emissions, avoids pollutant emissions and refrains from using harmful chemicals.

  • Recycled and recyclable

    We show you...

    • whether a product is recyclable or biodegradable due to its material composition.

    • whether recycled materials have already been used in production.

You see: Yoga is a way of life that goes far beyond physical training on the yoga mat. Respect and mindfulness towards people, animals and nature are the cornerstones of a sustainable future.
